It is proud to produce provincial, national, and world champions on an annual basis. David Habib, Head Coach and President, has been involved with the club for 31 years as a competitor and as a coach. He has been a provincial team coach for several years. In addition to great boxing athletes, the Kelowna Boxing Club trains about 150 hockey players each year from all competitive leagues - from the NHL to the minor leagues.

No matter how old you are the basic training required for boxing will make you incredibly fit. Boxing requires a high level of cardiovascular fitness watch a boxing match and see the energy used in a single 3 minute round and you will quickly realize that nothing gets the heart going like boxing.

Boxing requires you to be committed and disciplined. You can't just go to the gym occasionally or sporadically. You quickly realize that boxing at any level requires you to be disciplined in your training.
